Started life as a 1973 Datsun 260Z and has now been transformed into a front running “C-Production” vintage race car. The entire car went through a complete bare metal restoration which was finished spring 2022. All rust has been repaired, a new cage was installed and extensive modifications and updates have been made the chassis and suspension into what you see here. The entire interior, engine bay and underside are all freshly powder coated light grey. New hand fabricated dash and door panels are powder coated in wrinkle black finish. New fiberglass hood, front fenders, front valance, rear hatch, rear spoiler, front spoiler, rear flares and front/rear bumpers were fitted prior to painting. Panel fit and finish and exterior paint is excellent, really too nice for a race car. Everything on the car is either brand new or has been refurbished to as new condition. The car has only ran 2 events this year, approximately 3.5hrs. total on the car since restoration was finished. Rebello wetsump engine with triple side draft carburetors, 351hp/284ftlbs. at the flywheel, brand new Nissan CD009 transmission, 5.5″ dual disc race clutch, lightweight TTV steel flywheel, mini single wire alternator, R180 rear diff with O.S. Giken LSD, front and rear T3 coilovers with Koni adjustable race inserts, Ground Control camber plates, lightweight Earl’s Proflex crimped AN hose and fittings throughout, 15×8″ wheels, Toyo RR tires, the stop pedal assembly has been converted to dual brake master cylinders, 3 row aluminum radiator, oil cooler, Accu-sump, Stoptech ST40 front calipers with 12.1″ Wilwood rotors, Wilwood rear calipers with 200SX rotors, fully TIG welded 3″ stainless steel exhaust, 15 gal fuel cell.
No disappointments here – No short cuts were taken building this car. It was professionally restored and assembled by Racecraft in Woodinville, WA. It’s 100% race ready, easy to drive and extremely fast. Everything works like it should and needs absolutely nothing!
The car is strictly a road race car and not even close to being street legal however it does happen to have a clear Washington state title and is registered with collector car plates.
I may consider possible partial trades – interested mainly in modern fast street cars/trucks or late 70’s Ford pickups.
