Up for sale is this two owner 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser, 4×4, FJ62.
The 4.0 liter, fuel injected, inline, 6 cylinder engine starts right up and runs extremely well. The idle is smooth. The engine does not smoke or make any unusual noises. The entire drive train is solid and tight. Although the Land cruiser has 272k miles from what we understand and the overall condition/light interior wear they were mostly freeway driven miles.
The automatic transmission shifts properly into all gears and the 4×4 options engages properly.
The steering and suspension are in good working order.
The brakes stop the vehicle, however the system will need to be gone through (rear wheel cylinders will need attention)
-All four tires have good tread remaining (not sure of the age) replacement tires are always recommended
-Climate controls operate properly and the air conditioning works perfectly!
-Door locks and all four power windows need attention (possibly the main control switch on drivers door panel?)
-Good dash instrumentation, all gauges register accurate readings, trip meter does not work.
-Manual locking hubs with H4 (high 4-wheel drive button)
Cosmetically the Land Cruiser is honest and completely stock. The paint appears to be largely original and the overall appearance is very strong.
Although the Land Cruiser has some minor rust (mostly isolated to panels not technically attached to the chassis of the vehicle (fenders, doors, etc), with the exception of a small spot pictured below on the firewall/drip rail near where the roof rack is mounted). There are various imperfections such as dings, dents, chips, scratches, scrapes, blistering, hazing, fading, clear coat peeling, nicks, the overall appearance is very attractive.
-100% solid rust free-dry solid undercarriage, chassis and floor pans
-Excellent rocker panels, quarter panels and inner/outer wheel wells are all A+
-Spare tire and all tools required to change a flat
The interior is in great shape considering the age and mileage…..
-The seating surfaces are in excellent condition with no obvious imperfections (very nice), carpets and headliner are in good shape showing minimal wear
-The dashboard has some minor cracks
-Nice in dash Sony CD player

The overall appearance of this Land Cruiser gets high marks for having a tremendous amount of character and patina. The new owner will be pleased with the overall condition.
