1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. Car runs and drives. It has been an everyday driver for many years. It would be a great project car. Many new parts. I’ve owned the car for 18 years.
Here is a list of things I know is wrong with it. Engine burns oil and smokes out of exhaust. Car will not pass smog if you are in a smog testing state. Engine was rebuilt about 45,000 miles ago. Air bags do not work. ABS does not work. Check engine light on. Diagnosed as transmission code. This code has come up for over 80,000 miles. Transmission works fine. Driver door molding falling off. 2 spots of body damage. See pictures. Paint is faded and clear coat peeling off. Rear struts need to be replaced. Rear hatch struts need to be replaced. Driver door inside panel starting to fall off. Moon roof track is broken but motor and glass are working.
Upgraded stereo system with 2 12” subs in the rear hatch. Subs take up entire trunk. All works well.
Recent new parts are all 4 newer tires. Front passenger and driver lower control arms. Passenger side CV axle replaced. New alternator and water pump. New turbo and catalytic converter.
