1988 Toyota Pickup 1/2 Ton RN50 for sale

Beautiful 1988 Toyota Pickup. Lots of hard work done to bring this truck up to where it is! Runs and drives excellent. New 2 stage paint, new carburetor, new tires, fresh service and much much more! Drive this 22r anywhere!

Exterior wise, the truck was original and very straight when I purchased it, but it had too many small imperfections for me. At this point I mostly disassembled the truck and had a nice 2 stage paint job done. It came out excellent! After seeing the truck with such a nice paint job, of course I had to buy new bumpers and brackets as well. This led to all the other things done to this truck, it was a slippery slope! Tail lights were replaced. Also new tires were installed and at that time the wheels were sanded and painted along with the lugs nuts. Has new wipers and a new Toyota tailgate decal. Has a nice bedliner which was hard to find a nice used one since they do not make these anymore for 88s and earlier. The truck looks excellent overall and I get allot of compliments driving it around.

The interior was all original when it came to me but was in need of a few improvements. I added a dash cap on the right side of the dash. Also I had the radio replaced with a Blaupunkt which handles bluetooth streaming, CD and AM/FM and also added Pioneer speakers in the dash. Comes with a new antenna if next owner wants to install. I like to stream music from my phone which works excellent for me and I don’t like terrestrial radio anymore. Original floor matt is still in excellent shape. The bench seat was reupholstered in the original style and looks and feels great as a few springs were replaced as needed and foam was repadded. Driver side window regulator I had replaced as well as window cranks. Does not have air conditioning but does have a heater and vent. Ebrake works well.

Mechanically, the truck runs and drives excellent. Has a new Carburetor and fresh oil service. I had thec ar looked over by my mechanic after I purchased it. It passed smog in June and drives great!
