1983 Nissan 280ZX Datsun [5 Speed, Unrestored Original] for sale

Beautiful and original 1983 Datsun/Nissan 280 ZX with only 53,000 original miles. This ‘Z’ is a true time capsule.

It comes with the original 168 c.i. / 145 h.p., in-line fuel injected 6-cylinder, and backed by the matching 5-speed transmission.

The paint, pinstriping tape, and interior are original and in fantastic condition. It has never been in an accident and always garage kept. All the body panels are original and there is no evidence of being repainted or having any body work performed. The car apparently spent some of its life in Florida and there is no bubbling, rot, or repair in the paint except for a small area on the door sill of the driver’s side.

The interior is immaculate and shows little to no wear. You can still read the “240 ZX” logos on the cloth part of the seats and door panels. The digital dash, A/C, radio, cassette player, and power antenna function as they did new (see video). The ‘T’ tops are the original items too and come with their factory bags for storage when removed. All of the interior/exterior plastic appears in very good condition. There is no evidence of ‘sun fade’ on the dash or seats.

All of the exterior chrome trim (bumpers) and rubber are original and show no dry rotting or cracking. Even the wheels show no ‘curb rash’. The Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires are only 2 years old.

Electrically, everything works from the turn signals to the windshield wipers. There appear to be no issues.
