For Sale is is a PROJECT 1971 Datsun 510 Four Door with a clean FL title in my name.

See picture of the car in primer when I bought it just before taking it apart to do some restoration & painting

-Painted it (Datsun Safari Gold) in May 19 . I have no idea how to judge paint jobs so hopefully pics can give you an idea; Paint has a few dry spots in the clearcoat and a few imperfections

-Herculiner bedliner black waterproof protection was sprayed w/ compressor spray gun underneath chassis, throughout interior floors and in trunk compartment

-All of the glass is in good shape

-All original interior is there except no carpet; rear seat headrest section where the sun hits it the most could use some fixing otherwise all other pieces, front stock bucket seats, the rear bench seat and all 4 door cards are in good shape

-Headliner is there but it was stained during the welding/resto/paint process at the body shop.

-Some rust spots in the floor boards that needed repair were cut out & replaced with new sheet metal

-New left front fender

-New front valance

-New left rocker panel

-New Sheet Metal Trunk Edge Gutter Patch

-Remanufactured 91-94 Nissan KA24DE DOHC 16 valves Engine. Refurbishing done/ordered thru Ebay from ” JIS Engines, L.P. , 905 E. Abram St. Arlington TX 76010″. Engine is still tied to pallet and sealed in plastic

-New KA24DE Gasket set still in Box

-New oil pan, bolt set & gasket & oil pick up tube for KA24DE all still in box

-New motor mounts still in box; Engine crossmember has already been flipped and modified to receive the Nissan KA24DE Swap

-New “Xcessive” Intake Manifold w/ hardware & instructions still in the box. A Nissan KA24DE intake manifold w/ fuel rail & old injectors will also be included in the sale. One injector is missing. Recommend buying 4 new injectors.

-New “Stainless Steel” fuel lines (already installed); 3/8″ sending line & 5/16″ return line

–Walbro Fuel pump (used, was in car previous to restoring) comes with the sale

-Headers & Magnaflow pipe that were in car previous to restoring come with the sale

-Ram Air Intake (K&N) with new MAF sensor

-Nissan 240SX 5 speed Tranny w/ short shifter; Includes modified tranny crossmember to receive the swap.

-New Flywheel still in box

-New 4 driveshaft bolts; D-shaft has already been modified to fit the Nissan KA24DE swap

-New Exedy Clutch Kit still in box (includes, pressure plate, clutch disk, Release bearing, pilot bushing & alignment tool (Master & slave cylinders already installed)

-New Clutch master & slave cylinders

-New Wilwood Brake Master Cylinder

-New “Stainless Steel” Brake lines (already installed)

-Rear disc brake conversion from Nissan Maxima

-Front disc brakes from Datsun 280zx w/ coilovers

-New “Aluminum Radiator + 12″ fans For DATSUN 510 KA24DE Swap” still in box

-Tail light gaskets are all new

-New weatherstrip seals for hood (already installed), four doors and trunk

-Put new differential GL5 gear oil red line 75W90

-Rest of original lights, covers & wiring are in a box

– Core Wiring Harness was pulled while restoring. It is in a box & needs to be reinstalled.

-Wiring Harness & ECU for Nissan KA24DE engine are in a box and need to be reinstalled

-I keep The Rotas & 280Z wheels shown in the pictures. Sale will come w/ the wide black steelies & tires showed in 2 pics. Steelies are now painted silver & bumpers are chrome

-Both original chrome bumpers come with the sale

-Off the top of my head…Additional essential parts still needed to finish the build are radiator hoses and 4 injectors
